The Earth Day was observed on 22^nd April 2024 in H.C.D.G. College under the initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell to demonstrate support for environmental protection. The IQAC Coordinator Dr. Tarun Gogoi spoke on the theme of this year “Planet vs. Plastics”. Second semester student Brishti Rajkhanikar elaborately spoke on environment pollution and its effect on our planet. Another student Jamuna Panging focused on the importance of minimal use of plastics in everyday life in her brief speech. The programme ends with a vote of thanks by Jaspreet Kaur Sagoo, assistant professor, department of English.
